my story

As a little girl growing up in a rather large Italian family, food was always at the center of our times spent together. You would always find me in the kitchen at my mom's feet or on my aunt's lap watching in awe of the magic of what Grammy could do over a pot on the stove.

My love of baking began in high school after taking professional training classes, learning the culinary skills that would become the foundation of my career in the kitchen. Somewhere between earning my Bachelor's in Business Management & Entrepreneurship and Master's in Business Admin. from Georgia Southern University I was able to find the time to take pastry arts classes from a local school and perfect my skills in sugar work. After college I made the leap to follow my husband to Savannah, Ga where I found work as professional cake decorator at a local bakery. Some time later, opportunity came knocking and I had to leave the bakery, but my passion for creating edible works of art remained.   

For years now I have been making cakes and specialty desserts for friends and family for practically every occasion under the sun, and while it may seem like a hobby to some, it is a true passion of mine that I hope to share with anyone who is willing to take a bite!
